Boca Raton has a population of 82,485, was named 30th BEST PLACE TO LIVE in the US and #1 in FLORIDA for 2006. There are 2,685 restaurants within 15 miles, and 101 public golf courses within 30 miles. Within 15 miles there are 29 libraries and 7 museums within 30 miles. Median age is 42 ½.

There are 700 different neighborhoods ranging from upscale gated golfing equity and waterfront communties to affordable condos. Along the oceanfront and intracoastal waterway there are sumptuous homes and ultra-luxurious condos. There is a historic district featuring Addison Mizner style homes and 5 miles of sandy beaches. There are more than 40 parks and 30+ private and public golf courses. Florida Atlantic University offers many interesting courses for undergrads and adult ed along with concert series featuring prominent performers and classes in culture, world events and many other topics.

On the west side of Boca, along the 441 corridor, there are new family communities.
