WHAT TO DO IN BOCA RATON

BOCA RATON has more than 5 miles of publicly owned beachfront property and about 1,080 acres of parks.  Enjoy the beach, swim, snorkel, scuba dive, go freshwater or saltwater fishing, dine in a fine restaurant, play tennis.

Shop and/or Dine at Mizner Park, Royal Palm Plaza or Town Center Mall, or one of the fabulous boutiques just east of the Mall.

Head to the Gumbo Limbo Environmental Center to learn about local animals, e.g. turtles, manatees, reptiles, butterflies, etc.

Visit the exhibits at the Boca Raton Museum of Art.  Go to FAU (Florida Atlantic University) for evening concerts or daytime classes.  Play golf on one of our many beautiful public golf courses.

Dine at one of many restaurants at the Boca Resort Hotel or visit the new Beach Club.

Read up at the beautiful newer Spanish River Library and have lunch lakeside in their Café.  Head to Lake Okeechobee, the second-largest freshwater lake in the US.

Explore the Palm Beach area for star studded entertainment, theatre and ballet at the Kravis Center, a walk on glittering Worth Avenue or visit City Place with its many shops, restaurants, big movie-plex and theatre.  Drive down to South Beach in Miami and see “what it’s all about,” or tour the art district.  Boca is within a half hour from two international airports and less than an hour to Miami airport.  LIFE IS GOOD IN BOCA RATON!
