New Boca West Country Club complex, Akoya, scheduled to
open in the fall of 2015, will be nine stories high and have 120 private
residences. This complex will be the first luxury high-rise to be built in the
area in over 25 years.
Boca West is the #1
private residential country club in the United States, Since 1997 a Platinum
Club of America 5-Star Private Club, since 2013 recognized as a Distinguished
Emerald Club by BoardRoom Magazine. Two and three bedroom units with den and
office options will range from 2676 to 4780 sq ft.
Ceilings are 9’6” high. Outdoor terraces will
be expansive and floor-to-ceiling windows will be featured with fairway and
lake views. Prices will range from
$1.2MM to over $2MM. All ages welcome.
Staff will include valet, front desk staff and concierge
providing “white glove services”, manned gate and Security Patrol. Adding to Boca
West’s 300,000+ sq ft of amenities will be a resort-style swimming pool, lavish
Grand Room and 24-hour fitness center. Lease OK with 2 pets allowed.
Amenities at Boca West include four golf courses designed
by Pete Dye, Arnold Palmer and Jim Fazio, with a 4-acre short game area and a
50-tee driving range. Golf clinics and
lessons are available year around.
There are 31 Har-Tru tennis courts, a world-class spa and
aquatics center, salon and six restaurants. Fully stocked golf and tennis pro
shops are featured. Boca West was named 2013 USTA Outstanding Facility. Social
activities include arts and cultural venues, theatre productions, day trips and
cruises. Classes and lectures will be
offered along with organized card games and singles mixers.
The architects who built One Thousand Ocean,
GarciaStromberg have designed Akoya. Interiors will be by award-winning Steve
G., well known worldwide for fashionable metropolitan styles. Club Membership fee of $70,000 (one time) and
annual dues will be mandatory.
